Founder and CEO
Candice Brown Elliott founded Clairvoyante in July 2000 to develop and license enhanced display architectures and subpixel rendering technology. Ms. Brown Elliott is a 35-year veteran of the display and semiconductor industries, holding positions in R&D, manufacturing, and engineering management at Fairchild, Advanced Micro Devices, Planar Systems, and the Micro Display Corporation. Ms. Elliott has been granted 86 U.S patents. She holds a dual B.S. in Physics and Psychology from Excelsior College, University of the State of New York.
Anthony Botzas joined Clairvoyante in 2002. He leads new concept proposals and the design and development of new algorithms and architectures that are having momentous impact on Samsung’s mobile phone, tablet, and TV product lines. Mr. Botzas has been granted numerous patents and has 20 years’ experience in electronic displays, graphics, video, and wireless technologies having worked previously at Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies), ATI, and Matrox. He holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
Hardware Engineering Director
Mr. Im manages the engineering development team in Nouvoyance. He joined Clairvoyante in 2001 with a strong background in the electronic design of multimedia, embedded systems, HDTV products, LCD monitors and displays. Prior to Clairvoyante, he was Engineering Manager at Digital Reflection Inc, in addition to his 13 years of design and applications engineering experience at LG Electronics. He holds a BSEE from Sungkyunkwan University and a MSEE from Yonsei Graduate School in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Im has won multiple awards for his contributions to research at LG and has, in recent years, played a key role in the development of Clairvoyante's PenTile technology.
